The term "kick sledge" - with long ironrunners chair-sledge, which can be used on hard winter road or thin snowy ice to move very fast.

A little bit of history: Finnish kick sledge is always associated with the fishermen on the frozen lakes or with countrywoman on snowy gravel roads. The first users of the sled were coast people. Today, however, too much of salt and sand put on roads and fast traffic has made sledge useless even on countrysides.

Sixties ubiquitous means of transport (soome kelk, potku, potkukelkku, finskie sanki, potkuri, soomik, tõukekas) has almost become unique. Kick sledge has undergone a major change, and looks nice and modern. Pertaining to product development has made sledge attractive to people of all ages. Keywords are lightness, comfort, ergonomic design and new technical solutions that allow them to move in a easy tempo on trodded or un-trodded snow and ice even 40 km per hour.
